ABOUT
At Studio Praxis, we put our expertise at the service of art and heritage. Based in Brussels, our studio operates throughout Belgium with private and institutional clients.
As a partnership between two experienced restorers, we specialise in the study, conservation and restoration of antique, modern and contemporary paintings and their frames. We also offer additional services such as collection management, preventive conservation, restoration and the restoration of historic interiors. Our area of expertise also extends to gilding and decorative painting. Our work can be carried out in our studio or on site, depending on the needs of the works and the location.
Because we are passionate about our profession, we regularly attend training and expertise development sessions to ensure the highest quality work. We strictly adhere to the ECCO code of ethics and apply the principles of legibility, reversibility and minimal intervention, ensuring respect for the integrity and material history of the works.
At Studio Praxis, rigour, precision and passion are at the heart of our approach: each intervention aims to preserve the memory of the works while extending their life for future generations.
SERVICES
We assist individuals, institutions and heritage professionals in preserving and enhancing their decorative works and collections. Our interventions comply with international conservation-restoration codes of ethics (ICOM-CC, E.C.C.O.) and favour a minimal, reversible, documented approach tailored to each individual case.
